LEN HOOVER
Born and raised in New York City was a regular in Soho and got early training in art from his father. He continued mastering art throughout elementary and high school.
Len went on to study art at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA and was the the recipient of the Ford Scholarship for one Semester. Len then went on to study Product Design and 3 Dimensional Art at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in Milwaukee WI where he graduated at the top of his class. Len is the recipient of many design awards in Car Design and in Illustration.
As an Art Entrepreneur, Len has spent most of his post graduation time creating three dimensional aftermarket hoodscoops most recently as Airvms and as a SignMaker. He is a master artist.
In late 2006 Len decided to change direction toward Electric Powered Vehicles and Human Powered Vehicles and in this process rediscovered his love for creating with paint and sculpture on canvas. In Early 2007 Len closed Airvms and opened Len Hoover Design. The change of concept encompasses three main art forms that are his passion --- Kustom Art, Fine Art, and Sign Design.
Kustom Paint is airbrushing and hand-painting with the options of 3D work on your bike, car, truck, or wall. It can be your design or one Len creates for you.
Fine Art is gallery wrapped acrylic painting with 3D reliefs. Len accepts Commissioned work.
Sign Design is sketching, rendering and bringing the vision of your company logo and/or sign into being. All signs are Handpainted and/or Carved.
Len currently resides in Seabrook, NH with his wife and children.
